Local government.
Empowered voters.
Our Purpose
Participating in our democracy is both a right and a responsibility. Attending public meetings, staying informed, asking questions, and voting are essential to a healthy community. Yet many people feel disconnected from local government—not because they don’t care, but because it can be confusing, overwhelming, or hard to access.
We aim to change that.
The Informed Citizen Project is a non-partisan, citizen-led initiative dedicated to educating voters in La Porte County about local government, local elections, and civic engagement—plainly, clearly, and without political agendas.
